PHOTOS + REVIEW: OTHERKIN @ THE LIQUID ROOMS, EDINBURGH

Otherkin took the stage at The Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh, on the first night of tour with Dead Kennedys – and they did not disappoint.

They’ve had a busy 2017, opening for the legendary Guns’n’Roses and hitting the UK with two tours and now with Dead Kennedys. An understandably already packed Liquid Rooms were eager to listen to this upcoming pop/punk/rock four price from Dublin, and having visited Glasgow earlier in the year, it was time to show the Scottish capital what they have.

Performing their massive tracks such as Yeah, I Know and Bad Advice, you can see why Dead Kennedys were so keen to get them on tour. There is so much energy, character and enthusiasm through a performance that you would think they’d have been performing on major stages for years.

Latest release of REACT sparked interest in a ‘soon to be released album’ manner. A sought after band, Otherkin will be returning to Scotland to support INHEAVEN at the end of the year – I look forward to it.
