Saint PHNX cause chaos with upcoming headline tour.
The ambitious Scottish duo have been on a rising uproar for a while now; their track King sparking interest around the concept of self belief and sheer perseverance whilst their boundless, boisterous sound latches to headphones. It is very much music that’s hard to shake loose.
With that in mind, Saint PHNX are setting off on a huge headline tour later this month; hitting Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester and London – grab your tickets here.
Amongst the buzz, we managed to sneak in a couple questions for Saint PHNX. Read below as we talk The ONE, the Barrowlands and LA.
3 words that sum up Saint PHNX?
Big, Nasty, Beats
Favourite song you’ve ever written?
It’s a song called The ONE. Everything about it just came together really quickly from the lyrics, hook and arrangement. It’s about the end of a cycle and defining a moment that you always said was going to come.
Favourite song to play live?
There’s a couple. We really love kicking off with RELOAD. It just kicks the door in and grabs peoples attention. We also love playing a song called MOUNTAINS as it’s a stripped back acoustic song that we both sing. It gives us a chance to engage with the audience which is great.
Favourite gig you ever went to?
Stereophonics at The Barrowlands.
Weridest thing someone has ever shouted out from the crowd during a show?
“Kiss yer brother…”
The last song you were listening to?
Unforgettable – French Montana
Top 3 moments to still tick off the bucket list?
Sell out The Barrowlands, Release an Album, Take over the world.
You’re ultimate guilty pleasure?
In music? Probably Taylor Swift.
Lastly, what’s up next?
We’re just about to head out on our first UK Headline tour! We’ll also be releasing some new songs over the next few weeks and then will be heading over to LA for some writing to finish our album.
